Overview
The GBC Library has undergone significant change in the past few years:
• Major expansion and remodeling in 1998/99, with an exile to a downtown
building during the remodel;
• Significant and impressive expansion of electronic access for students,
and participation in the College’s distant education programs;
• New resources and services used for baccalaureate programs;
• Retirement of the long-time library director in 2002.
Throughout these changes, the Great Basin College Library and
its staff has continued to meet the challenges.
