Services for Students with Disabilities

It is the policy and practice of Great Basin College to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and state and local requirements regarding students with disabilities. Under these laws, no qualified individual with a disability shall be denied access to or participation in services, programs and activities of Great Basin College.

Schedule an Appointment by Email

To schedule an appointment with Julie Byrnes, please do the following:

  1. Address an e-mail message to the address: julieb@gwmail.gbcnv.edu
  2. Enter “E-mail Appointment” in the Subject area.
  3. Write a brief e-mail and include the following information:
    1. Your name.
    2. Your phone number.
    3. 3 times and dates that would be good for you to meet with Julie within the next 7 to 10 days. Allow at least 24 hours for Julie to respond. You meeting will probably last 1 hour.
    4. Your reasons for scheduling the meeting.
    5. If necessary, a request for directions to Julie's office (in the Elko Campus Career Center).
  4. Send the e-mail. Julie will get back to you confirming an appointment within 24 hours
