As a GBC student, you may set up a personal account with Smart Thinking. Once you do that, online tutoring services are available in math, biology, physics, chemistry, economics, accounting, writing, and many other disciplines. Students can arrange “real time” sessions with E-instructors or students can use the Essay Center to submit papers for tutor review. Papers are returned within 48 hours.

To set up a personal student account:

• Call 775-753-2149 for the GBC username and password.
• Go to www.smarthinking.com
• Enter the GBC user name and password
• You will then be prompted to create your personal user name and password
• Use your personal log in information for all future sessions
