| About C.L.A.S.S. |
Each GBC employee — including faculty, staff, student
leaders, and student workers — can
make C.L.A.S.S. awards for outstanding service
above and beyond...
Awards must submitted by the end of the same calendar month in which the outstanding
service occurred.
The Review Committee (Janie Moore, Yvonne Sutherland, and Dorinda Friez) will review
the cards for excellence in service by the end of each calendar month.
All awards will be distributed to the recipients' supervisors.
Awardees will be entered into
a drawing to be held the first Friday of the first full business week of the following
calendar month. One prize will be given per drawing/month.
Printed awards will be displayed for one month in Berg Hall and then returned to recipients
for them to keep.
This page will be updated with most recent awards.

Richie Lespade |
for outstanding service on 6/6/2008 |
| Awarder Norm Cavanaugh, Dir. Fitness Center’s comments: Volunteering to provide technical instruction for all interested family and especially children on the basis of rock climbing during the Employee Family Picnic. It turned out to be a busy but, very interesting and enjoyable event for all participants. Richie and his brother Andrea made this event a hit for the Family Picnic. Richie throughout the year has been a dedicated student employee, accepting the responsibility and coming up with favorable recommendations to improve student activities. Therefore, I am nominating Richie as the CLASS reciepent for his dedication and foresight to plan this activity for the Employee Family Picnic. |

| Awarder Delores Whittaker’s comments: His hard work and honesty in keeping me informed during the remodel of my work space this past year. He did a great job resulting in minimal interruption of my work day while completing the tasks at hand. I especially appreciated the follow through and not being "forgotten". A #1 in my book! |
