The ICE Committee has been working to bring in events throughout the year and
though we are not limited in our creativity, the committee is limited in funding. At many events, only nominal fees are charged
(or none at all) so that everyone has access to the arts.

The Intellectual and Cultural Enrichment (ICE) ad-hoc committee of
the Faculty Senate is made up of interested faculty, staff, students and community members,
all combining efforts to bring cultural and artistic events to the GBC service area.
ICE has
brought many events into the community, events meant to stimulate your intellectual curiosity
and engage you in the outer world -- for example, in recent years:

In 2008 Norma Cantu and Dan Dagget will speak to interested
students and community members January
31st and February 1st respectively. The
public is invited to attend; location will be Greenhaw Technical Arts Building (next to the
clock tower) room 130.
