Research Computers
The Great Basin College Library provides research computers that are accessible to the internet. These computers
also have the latest version of Microsoft Office, allowing students to utilize the internet and write their research
papers. Printers are available for each computer and the cost per page is just 10 cents. Computer users must log on to
the library's computers to utilize the printer. To log on, your username is your web campus ID, while your password is
your student ID number. Please ask a staff member at the front desk if you require assistance.
Meeting Rooms
The library has a computer lab that is available for instructional use. There is also a small meeting room that can
accommodate up to 15 persons. To reserve one of these rooms on a first come, first served basis, please call the
library at 753-2222.
Study Room
The library has one room available for group study. You may call and reserve the use of this room as long as it isn't
being used for other purposes. There are numerous tables throughout the library that may also be used for group study,
however, we ask that you keep your voices to hushed tones out of courtesy for other library patrons. To reserve the
group study room, please call the library at 753-2222.
Wi-Fi Access
The library provides free wirless access throughout the entire library.
Microfiche & Microfilm
Microfiche and microfilm machines are located upstairs in the Government Documents section.
Photocopiers, Scanners & Fax machines
There is a public use photocopier located in the foyer of the library. Copies are 10 cents each. However,
copy cards are available in increments of $1 and bring the cost of copies down to just 7 cents per page.
Currently, the library does not offer scanning services and there is not a public fax machine available.
