To find peer-reviewed articles in EBSCO, remember to refine your search results to peer-reviewed articles. To do this, check the box labeled "Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals located in the "Limit your Results" search category. JSTOR

This database is unique because the complete archives of core scholarly journals have been digitized, starting with the very first issues, many of which date from the 1800's. Access Science (McGraw Hill)

An authoritative and dynamic online resource that contains incisively written, high-quality reference material that covers all major scientific disciplines. An award-winning gateway to scientific knowledge, it offers links to primary research material, videos and exclusive animations, plus specially designed curriculum maps for teachers. With these and other online features, AccessScience is continually expanding the ways it can demonstrate and explain core, trustworthy scientific information in a way that inspires and guides users to deeper knowledge.

GreenFILE (EBSCO)

Offers well-researched information covering all aspects of human impact on the environment. Its collection of scholarly, government and general-interest titles includes content on the environmental effects of individuals, corporations and local/national governments, and what can be done at each level to minimize these effects. Topics covered include global climate change, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy recycling, and more. The database provides indexing and abstracts for approximately 384,000 records, as well as Open Access full text for more then 4,700 records. 

Issues & Controversies  (Facts on File)

Analyzes and explains hundreds of controversial topics, in a language and format that students can understand. with balance, accuracy and regular updating.

ProQuest 

A definitive resource for students studying both the applied and general sciences. The Science Journals feature over 660 titles - with more than 540 available in full text. In full-text format, researchers have access to all the charts, diagrams, graphs, tables, photos, and other graphical elements so vital to scientific and technical literature.

SIRS 

A comprehensive database portal which is comprised of several distinct reference databases including SIRS Researcher, SIRS Government Reporter and SIRS Renaissance. It provides relevant, credible information on social issues, science, history, government, the arts and humanities.

Today's Science bridges the gap between the science that students learn in the classroom and the discoveries pushing the boundaries of science today. Today's Science explains important developments in biology, chemistry, the environment, space, physics, and technology. Students are provided with information in context, clearly explained and abundantly illustrated.
