Access World News - NewsBank

The electronic editions of record for valuable local, regional, and national U.S. newspapers in full-text content -- all in one easy-to-search database with a world map. Each provides unique coverage of local and regional news, including companies, politics, sports, industries, cultural activities, and people in the community, as well as a distinctive focus offering a variety of viewpoints on local and world issues. Paid ads are excluded.

Issues & Controversies - Facts on File

Analyzes and explains hundreds of controversial topics, in a language and format that students can understand. with balance, accuracy and regular updating.

ProQuest Social Science Journals

Search full-text periodicals covering the social sciences.

SIRS

A comprehensive database portal which is comprised of several distinct reference databases including SIRS Researcher, SIRS Government Reporter and SIRS Renaissance. It provides relevant, credible information on social issues, science, history, government, the arts and humanities.

This website offers easy access to statistics and reports on children and families, including: family and social environment, economic circumstances, health care, physical environment and safety, behavior, education and health. The Forum fosters coordination, collaboration, and integration of Federal efforts to collect and report data on conditions and trends for children and families.

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is the United States government's principal agency for protecting the health of all Americans and providing essential human services. A wide variety of health and healthcare topics are covered.
