Fall Student Art Show to Open!

2015 Fall Student Art Show graphicGreat Basin College’s Art Gallery will be hosting the end of semester Student Art Show November 30 – December 11, 2015 at the Leonard Center for Student Life on campus. An opening reception will be held December 1, 2015 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.

There are variety of art classes being taught at Great Basin College ranging from drawing and photography to jewelry and glass-bead making. Enrolled students range from beginner to advanced and the quality of work is impressive.

This particular show also includes artwork from the community education courses offered.

  • Dates: November 30 - December 11, 2015
  • Location: Great Basin College Art Gallery, Leonard Center for Student Life, Elko Campus.
  • Tickets: Admission is FREE and the gallery is open to the public!
  • Reception: An opening reception will be held December 1, 2015 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. in the Great Basin College Art Gallery, Leonard Center for Student Life, Elko Campus and is free and open to the public.

“We have several pieces from Jacob Park’s veterans art healing class, and Lynne Kistler’s printmaking class,” says Gallery Curator, Sally Rampe “We hope the community will come out to support both the students and our programs.”

Ceramics will be for sale during the opening reception on December 1.
