Great Basin College Continuing Education invites anyone interested in becoming a paralegal to attend the Paralegal Orientation on Tuesday, August 16 at 5:30 p.m. at the High Tech Center room 123, located at 1290 Burns Rd.
The GBC Paralegal Studies Program is a one-year, non-credit certificate program taught in Elko and offered by interactive video in Ely, Pahrump, and Winnemucca. Courses cost $219.50 each plus books and materials. Each class is approximately 8 weeks long.
An application for a $500 scholarship sponsored by Bradshaw Law, LLC for the fall term will be available to GBC paralegal students at the orientation. JOIN (Job Opportunities in Nevada) Inc. also offers financial assistance for students who are interested in pursuing the paralegal program. Contact JOIN by calling 775-753-1700 or by visiting their office located at 618 Idaho St.
Students enrolling in this program are not eligible for traditional financial aid offered through the college, as it is a non-credit program
