Mission Statement: The Department of Health Sciences and Human Services enriches lives of citizens and students through provision of health and human services career programs and by partnering with providers and institutions to improve the health and well being of rural Nevadans.

1.  Goal: Design new programs, modify existing programs, and eliminate unneeded programs to maximize quality, respond to service area needs,and ensure effective use of resources. (Theme 1)
