Associcate of Science in Agriculture

About the Program


The Associate of Science Agriculture degree is designed for students interested in continuing their education and pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree. There are several patterns of study available depending upon the student’s desired career goals. The general agriculture emphasis can be tailored to meet the prerequisites for the student’s desired bachelor’s program. The Animal Science emphasis is tailored to students wishing to pursue a bachelor’s in animal science or a closely related field. The Natural Resources emphasis is designed for students seeking a bachelor’s in natural resources or rangeland livestock production. The associate of science also allows students to seek a 2+2 agreement with the University of Nevada, Reno, ensuring the possibility to graduate with a bachelor’s in 4 years.
