Settings in Internet Explorer (IE)
- If you aren’t using IE version 7, you may want to update by going to http://www.windowsupdate.com
- In the Internet Explorer window, click Tools and then Internet Options

- A new window opens. Click the Security tab at the top. Towards the bottom of the Security window, slide the Security Level bar down to Medium.
- Click the Advanced tab at the top of the window. On the Advanced window, click the Restore Advanced Settings button.
Note: If other options haven't solved the issue you are having, you can click the Reset button on the Advanced window. After you do, you may want to go to the General tab and reset your home page to what it was before (e.g. http://www.yahoo.com).
- Click Apply at the bottom of the window, then OK.
- Close the browser and open it again.

Replacing Java
- Click the Start button at lower left of your screen and choose Control Panel on the menu.
- On the Control Panel window, click Add or Remove Programs.
- The list may take a minute or two to populate, but then should come up in alphabetical order. Scroll down and look for entries of Java or J2SE. Click on them individually, then click the Remove button next to them that comes up.
- Click here to download and install Java.
