The Tech Prep program allows high school juniors and seniors to earn GBC college
credits for completing specific high school courses. Up to 15 college credits may be earned
for CTE (Career & Technical Education) courses in which an A or B grade is earned.

Application Process
Step 1: Download and print the GBC application
and the Tech Prep application appropriate for your school district below. Each form also tells
you which courses in your school district may earn college credit.
All of the following require the Adobe Reader plugin
for your browser, available
free from Adobe.
Step 3: Fill out the forms completely, staple them together and
return them to one of your teachers who signed the form by the end of the spring semester or
mail them to:

Step 4: To receive your credits you must earn an "A" or "B" in
your Tech Prep class. To receive your Tech Prep credits at the end of the school year, after
you receive your grades, you will need to pay GBC New Student fee of $10. You can pay in person
at a GBC Campus, online at Web-REG (after signing in, click on "Registration"),
or by mailing a check to:
