Application Process
Step 1: Download and print the GBC
application and the Tech Prep application appropriate for your school district below. Each
form also tells you which courses in your school district may earn college credit.
All of the following require the Adobe Reader plugin
for your browser, available
free from Adobe.
Note: You must be a
Junior or Senior when they you take a Tech Prep class, unless the classes are a sequence
(e.g., the sequencee of Welding I, II, and III, in which case you must take at
least one of the classes as a junior or senior.
Step 2: Fill out the forms completely, staple them together and
return them to a CTE teacher or a counselor or to the address below by
the end of the school year or mail them to:

Note: Applications
received after the end of August will not be able to be processed until the following summer.
Step 3: To receive your credits you must earn an "A" or "B" in
your Tech Prep class. To receive your Tech Prep credits at the end of the school year, after
you receive your grades, you will need to pay GBC New Student fee of $10. You can pay in person
at a GBC Campus, online at Web-REG (after signing in, click on "Registration"),
or by mailing a check to:
