Audio Visual
equipment is loaned to faculty and staff ONLY ~
- for use on or off campus;
- for GBC related activities. |

General:

All
classrooms on campus and at the Annex are equipped with a
television, VCR and overhead projector in working order
-
Requests
for other equipment is based on a first come, first served
basis.

When
there is a conflict arising from equipment requested for classroom
use and equipment required for meetings and special events, the
classroom requests will have priority.

Audio
visual equipment is not loaned to any outside organization.

Instructors
may check out equipment for students to use during class
presentations

Equipment
Available for Loan
- LCD Projector (for
"PowerPoint" presentations)
- Camcorder ~ this is a studio quality
camera, not a handheld, and is generally set up and operated by
Library A/V Services for campus events, classroom recording, etc.
- Public Address System (Amp/Mixer,
Microphones, Speakers) ~ these are generally set up by Library A/V
Services for campus events
- Audio Tape Player
- Audio Tape Player/Recorder
- TV/VCR Combination
- TV
- VCR
- Overhead Projector
- Other - we have a small selection of
other equipment, if you need something along the a/v line, please
ask, we may have it available.

Services
Provided by Library Audio Visual
- Filming in class and on campus for
faculty and GBC events;
- Set up of Public Address System;
- Reproduction of copyrighted audio and
video tapes with written permission of the copyright owner;
- Reproduction of non copyrighted
audio and video tapes for faculty use;
- Reproduction of audio and video tapes
of classroom instruction and student practice (Tai Chi, for
example)

Request
to Borrow Equipment
Faculty and staff are required to sign a checkout
sheet for all equipment borrowed for use off campus, at the time it is taken from the
Library
- Use the GBC room Utilization
Request Form available online and from the facilities scheduling
office when requesting a classroom ;
- Email direct to Library
A/V Services;
- Contact the Library Audio Visual
Services at Extension 2172
- You will be notified when your request
has been filled.
