Government information is available to everyone:

faculty, college students and members of the community. A
person does not have to be a GBC student to borrow or interlibrary loan a document. |
General

All
Government Documents can be checked out. Many of the documents are
bar-coded, but if they are not you can still borrow
them. Bring the document to the Circulation Desk and someone will help you.

Special arrangements must be made for
CD’s. The Reference or Documents librarian will load the CD’s on one
of the
computers.

The microfiche needs to be
used in the library, as it requires microfiche readers to be read.

How To

Once
you find the document in the Online Catalog, print out the document
information and bring this to the Circulation Desk where someone will help
you;

Note:
If the item is checked out it cannot be borrowed.

A
fax copy can be ordered if the item is not over 10 pages long.

If the
document is longer than 10 pages it will have to be mailed to GBC; it may take several days to arrive
- up to a week depending on the mails and processing delays at the
originating library.
