Rafael was of the Catholic background. He was a very religious man and at one time he was considered by the church to be a cardinal for the church. Most of Rafael's paintings involved the Catholic church in one way or another. He was very highly respected by the church and its leaders. So, his philosophy of life, was that religion can not be ignored. He also was very involved in politics, as many of his paintings involve the King or other political figures. Rafael believed in love as well. He was a very kind, respectful, and loving person. Rafael believed in and through out his life promoted love, politics, and to follow and worship God.
