Economics Crossword Puzzles

------------------------------------------------------

This website constitutes an outreach program of the Department of Economics at Great Basin College, in Elko, Nevada. It is the work of Dr. Glen Tenney, who is responsible for any errors, omissions, or idiosyncrasies. The project is an ongoing work in process, and new puzzles are therefore added periodically.

Learning the principles of economics is—to a great extent—a matter of learning the precise (or perhaps not so precise) meanings of words. Consequently, using simple crossword puzzles to repetitively check and reinforce meanings of words is arguably a good way of learning elementary economics.

The topics below reflect the content of standard textbooks generally, but conscientious students can pick and choose from the topics to match the content of their particular textbook in use.
