Career and Technical Education

Courses and programs in the School of Industrial Technology and Workforce Development at Great Basin College are designed to give students the hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge needed for employment or to enhance their skills to upgrade their current occupation. The college also offers customizable training programs to address the workforce development needs of local businesses and industries through our contract training or GBC-NORCAT MST. These short courses have been developed to keep pace with the dynamic demands of the business and industrial sectors and to boost local economies. These programs foster intellectual curiosity, encourage creative thinking, and enhance competencies across a wide range of fields.
