The Career Center, located within the Learning Commons, helps Great Basin College students and graduates prepare for career success through personalized guidance and professional development opportunities. Whether you are exploring career options, preparing for your first job, or advancing your career, staff are available to support you every step of the way.

Students can participate in résumé and cover letter workshops, mock interviews, and career readiness activities designed to build confidence and develop the professional skills employers value. Student Career Services also partners with the GBC Library, which is developing a growing collection of books and resources focused on career exploration, leadership, communication, interviewing, networking, workplace success, and other essential professional skills.
