Step-by-Step - from the Beginning

  1. Be sure you have a Windows 7 and newer or a Macintosh 10.6 and newer computer in good working condition, virus and spyware free, along with an Internet connection.
  2. If you have not already done so, fill out and submit an application for admission.
  3. Wait to receive confirmation of your admission, along with your username and password for the MyGBC Self-Service Center.
  4. Log into the MyGBC Self-Service Center to enroll in classes and pay for them.
  5. Explore About WebCampus, and get your computer's Internet browser set up correctly. Also learn your initial password for WebCampus.
  6. Log into WebCampus and begin your course!
  7. Complete the online WebCampus Orientation

 

Special Equipment and Requirements for LiveNet Classes

LiveNet courses require you meet with your instructor and classmates online in a virtual classroom.

Before the semester begins, click here to watch a video on setting up your computer for your LiveNet course.

You will also need a microphone headset or webcam, which you can check out from any GBC campus or arrange to have mailed to you by contacting the library.
