AAS in Industrial Maintenance

Program Overview

The Industrial Maintenance Program prepares a student for an exciting entry-level career as an industrial mechanic in manufacturing, mining, construction, and the service industry. The student receives technical training in mechanical operations, fluid power, machine tool operation, preventive/ predictive maintenance, electrical theory, welding processes, pumps, rigging, pipe fitting and shaft alignment.

Upon successful completion of the program the student will have the necessary skills to start a career, plus the will have the proper credentials. Not only will they have an AAS in Industrial Maintenance, but they can also earn 5 levels of NCCER national certifications. These credentials are used by industry to accreditate workers nationally and worldwide. A graduate with these credentials can work in all locations that use machinery to produce a productor service including steel or paper mills, mining operations, refineries, power plants, schools, food processing plants, automotive plants, manufacturing, recycling plants, and any other industry that manufactures, mines, or makes a product or service.
