  • Register as a GBC Student 775-327-2068 or
  • Enroll in the CNA course (please insert link for assistance with enrolling in a GBC class)
  • Purchase a subscription from American Databank (Complio) 1-800-200-0853 or You will need to add these packages: vaccine tracking, drug screen, background check.
  • Before class begins: 1) Upload all required documents into your new complio account before class begins. 2) Complete drug screen. 3) Obtain BLS from American Heart association (AHA).
  • You will have an opportunity to take the skills portion of BLS Heartcode in the first week of your CNA class if you have first completed the online portion of this class. BLS Heartcode online portion note: you must bring the completion certificate to class with you.

The CNA course is a hybrid course consisting of three parts:

  • Theory 40 hours
  • Skills Lab 60 hours
  • Clinical 20 hours

Course length is 4-8 weeks depending on location.

You must be 16 years of age to enroll in a CNA course.

No, you do not need a high school diploma or a GED to enroll in a CNA course.
