The CNA course is a hybrid course consisting of three parts:
Course length is 4-8 weeks depending on location.
You must be 16 years of age to enroll in a CNA course.
No, you do not need a high school diploma or a GED to enroll in a CNA course.
Financial aid may be available. Please contact our Student Financial Services for more information. JOIN (Job Opportunities in Nevada) is another option for financial assistance in northern Nevada. Contact them directly to determine eligibility at 775-753-1700.
* We currently have funding opportunities available for the CNA program through the Sandi Grant. Please contact Tony Villalobos for more information regarding how to apply antonio.villalobos@gbcnv.edu.
