About the Paramedic / LPN Bridge Pathway

At Great Basin College, we recognize the advanced training and clinical experience that National Registered Paramedics (NRP) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) already possess.

The Paramedic/LPN Bridge Pathway is a separate admission pathway designed specifically for currently licensed Paramedics and LPNs who want to earn an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) and become Registered Nurses (RNs).

This pathway awards college credit for your prior education and experience and places you into a modified entry process that is different from the traditional nursing applicant pool.

Note: If you are a Licensed Paramedic or LPN interested in GBC's AAS in Nursing program, please complete the Paramedic/LPN Bridge Pathway Application and not the regular Nursing application.
