COVID-19 Cases

Welcome to the Great Basin College COVID-19 cases page.

This page is regularly updated with the latest information regarding confirmed cases of COVID-19 by medical professionals, among the students, faculty and staff and reported to GBC, including the best information ascertained about when the individual last had contact with the main campus or other locations in the GBC service area. The college will only include confirmed cases where other members of the GBC community may have been exposed to COVID-19.

Close contacts with COVID-19 positive individuals will be informed about the need for quarantine or testing.

This list should not be considered a cumulative total of cases associated with Great Basin College. It is an attempt to compile the cases reported to the college – along with best information obtained about when the individual last had contact with the main campus or other GBC locations the college has been made aware of.

To help slow the spread of COVID-19, members of the GBC community are required to wear facial coverings while on campus, maintain social distancing of at least six feet, and practice good hygiene such as washing one’s hands regularly.
