SUBMITTING A COURSE FOR GENERAL EDUCATION 1. November 1 is the deadline for GE course and program submissions in order to provide time for feedback and submission to Curricular Review.
2. The course submittal form can be found in the web links section.
3. Submitters must be full-time faculty and are required to consult with department faculty in preparing a course for GE consideration. This helps in ensuring a course is properly constructed in regard to assessment and pedagogy.
4. A sample table for GE and course learning goals can be found in the documents section.
5. A copy of the GE objectives from the 2020-2021 catalog is provided in the documents section.
6. Check out the GE flow chart in the documents area to see how the process works.
GE COURSE REMOVAL
General education courses may be removed from the GE grid. Click this GE Course Removal Form_2022 in the weblinks section to proceed.
Submitters must be fulltime faculty and the deadline for submission is Nov 1 so that Curricular Review can review and catalog changes made.
