Great Basin College: Child Center Staff

All employees are required to undergo fingerprinting and a FBI background check. Each staff member completes annual certified training in CPR, 1st Aide, Emergency Procedures, Infectious Disease and Blood Borne Pathogens. In addition, the teachers are required to complete a minimum of 18 hours of child development training annually. Teachers, who have not completed a Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Child Development or Early Elementary Education, are encouraged to pursue a higher level of education by completing college courses, attending child development workshops and conferences.

Teaching License, Over twenty years of teaching experience in Elementary Education, grades K through six, eighteen years experience owning and operating successful manufacturing company, employed at the Child Center since August 2000.
